June 25th
The TWHL is in the offseason. Stockholm lost an exciting seven game series to the Tokyo Dragons in the conference finals. Tokyo went on to win their third title. Stockholm suffered hard blows in both the FA draft aswell from retirements. The team lost 3 players from the so called 444 line. Rod Brind'Amour has since then been reaguired and it's hoped that he will lead the team for many seasons to come. The management has done some major changes to the team.

June 22nd
The Stockholm management announced that the teams farm team will be moved from Koping to Anaheim. The new team will be called the Anaheim Sea Otters. It is hoped that the name change will be a positive thing for the club.

April 18th 2004
The TWHL6 playoffs has come to an abrubt halt as the league office is suffering from computer problems. Stockholm are down 2-1 against Tokyo in the EUR-ASIAN conference finals. Game 4 will be played in Stockholm as soon as league offices has strightened things out.

April 11th 2004
Stockholm will play Tokyo in the third round of the TWHL6 playoffs. Bookies have Tokyo as clear favorites. Can Brindy lead Stockholm to their first appearance in the finals ? Stay tuned.

Feb 19th 2004
Rod Brind'Amour had 3 goals and 1 assist in the 9-5 win against London last night. Stockholms win meant that the team bounced back from a 6-8 loss the night before. The games between Stockholm and London are always fun to watch since lots of goals are being scored. Some of you might remember Stockholms 14-5 win late in the preseason. The first game between the two teams this season ended with a 7-3 win for the Ratz.
Stockholm now have two of their LW's on their injure list. Both Kyle Calder (2nd in scoring) and Maxim Balmochnykh are out with injuries. Josh Green and Jaroslav Svoboda is filling in until they return. Next up is a road game agains the Hated Taipei Typhoons.

Feb 16th 2004
After having won two games in a row Stockholm lost to Calcutta in a high scoring game that ended 8-7 in favor of the Indian team. Stockholms 444 lines scored 6 of the Ratz 7 goals and Chris Drury was named 2nd star of the game with his 2 goals and 1 assist. Next up games against Taipei and London.

Feb 10th 2004
The team played the Chilean Sheepherders earlier today and lost 5-2 in Santiago. Rob Brind'Amour had two assists in the game as Calder and Drury had a goal a piece. The game was tied at 2 coming into the third period but once there showed Jaroslav Bednar what he can do. He scored a hattrick in a time span of less than 10 minutes. Stockholm couldn't reply to Bednars goals and Santiago won the game. Santiago keeper Nabokov made 39 saves. The Ratz continue their road trip up to Canada where they'll play Toronto and Montreal. The Swedes will need to win both games in order to tie their 20 game record from the first quarter. So far in the second quarter the team is 12-5-1.

Feb 8th 2004
The Stockholm Ratz have played .500 hockey over the last 4 games. Losing to Taipei and Hong Kong before beating Vancouver and Melbourne. Rob Brind'Amour continues to lead the team offensivly and sits in thrid place in league scoring behind Lindros and Jagr. Pavel Kubina continue to impress from the blueline. No one in Stockholm regrets matching the $10 offer that was put on him during the TWHL5 FA draft. Next up is a home game vs the New York Rangers.

Feb 3rd 2004
Stockholm lost their road game against Prague 4-3. The loss was not unexpected even though Stockholm normally should beat Prague. "Anton Stastny has done a fantastic job with the club and it almost makes me wonder what the previous owner was doing." Coach Savard said during the post game press conference. Stockholms goals were scored by first liners Drury, Brind'Amour and Kubina. Brindy and Kubina are leading the scoring races for skaters and defenders. Complete box scores can be found in the TWHL6 section of the page. Next up for the Ratz is a home game against Hong Kong. Another team that is streaking right now. Stockholm are 0-1-1 against HK so far this season. More as it happens.

Feb 2nd 2004
The Stockholm Ratz is off to a great start of the season and is leading the league with 29 games played. Rod Brind'Amour leads the team in scoring and sits in 2nd place in league scoring. Defensman Pavel Kubina leads all defenders in scoring with 33 points in 29 games Mark Eaton scored the Ratz' 2000nd regular season goal in the 5-3 win over Prague. The site will be updated more frequently now as I am now able to access it again.
